What is a fundie?

A fundie, short for fundamentalist, is a person who adheres strictly to a set of fundamental beliefs or principles, often based on a particular religious or political ideology. Fundies are known for their conservative beliefs and views, and may be resistant to change or new ideas that contradict their deeply held beliefs.

Fundies often participate in organized religious practices, such as attending regular worship services or adhering to specific religious doctrines. They may also be involved in political movements that align with their conservative beliefs, such as advocating for traditional family values or opposing social progress.

Fundies can sometimes be seen as closed-minded or intolerant of differing beliefs, and may be prone to judgmental attitudes towards those who do not share their views. However, it is important to recognize that not all individuals who identify as fundamentalists fit this stereotype, and there is diversity within the fundie community.
